Description

Central processing unit for the NKE Topline instrument system, computing true wind, VMG, laylines, current set and drift, and all derived sailing performance data from connected sensors. Incorporates a high-frequency motion reference unit that corrects apparent wind for boat motion and acceleration, reducing noise by up to 40 percent. Interfaces with displays, autopilots, and computers over the Topline bus and provides NMEA 0183 output for third-party equipment.
